As a leading provider of exhibit and conference event solutions, Pro-X Event partners with clients across North America to bring their events to life. We are seeking a highly organized and personable AV Project Manager with a strong background in live event production to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity to combine your technical audio-visual expertise, client relationship skills, and project management experience in a role that oversees events from concept to completion. Working from our Mississauga head office and travelling to events across North America, the AV Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and above client expectations.

Location:

Mississauga, Ontario (head office)

Travel throughout North America

Your Day-to-Day:

Manage client events from initial inquiry through successful completion, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle

Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, technical requirements, budgets, and expectations

Develop project plans, timelines, equipment requirements, and labour schedules to ensure seamless event execution

Prepare quotations and proposals based on project scope, resource requirements, and client needs

Coordinate internal resources, technicians, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met

Monitor project budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality

Communicate project updates, timelines, and changes with clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis

Coordinate equipment, labour, transportation, and cross-rentals as required to support event delivery

Anticipate challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track

Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all event information is accurate and up to date

Support on-site event execution when required, ensuring client expectations are exceeded

Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and the overall client experience

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams

Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, live event production, and event workflows

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver's licence and ability to travel as required

Valid passport or ability to obtain one

5+ years of experience as an AV Project Manager, Technical Director, AV Technician, Show Lead, or similar live event production role

Previous project management, client management, estimating, or event planning experience is considered an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
