The successful candidate will play a key role in improving our customers' online shopping experience while supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
Job Summary
The E-Commerce Website Designer & Administrator will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's e-commerce website. This role combines website design, content management, user experience optimization, SEO, and technical coordination to ensure a high-performing online store that aligns with company branding and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the company's e-commerce website to support online sales of health, wellness, beauty, and household products.
Create website layouts, landing pages, promotional banners, and other visual elements consistent with company branding and marketing goals.
Design and optimize product pages to improve customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall shopping experience.
Ensure website functionality and compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices using responsive design principles.
Manage and update website content, including product descriptions, images, pricing, inventory information, and promotional campaigns.
Integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot website features such as product catalogs, shopping carts, customer inquiry forms, and payment gateways.
Utilize Shopify or similar content management systems to update website content and visual assets.
Optimize website graphics, images, and page layouts to improve site speed and overall performance.
Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and organic search rankings.
Monitor website analytics and performance metrics, making recommendations and implementing improvements based on user behavior and business needs.
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, developers, and technical support teams during website upgrades, maintenance projects, and feature deployments.
Support digital marketing initiatives by creating and updating website content related to promotions, campaigns, and product launches.
QualificationsRequired
Diploma or degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, E-Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience managing and maintaining e-commerce websites.
Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce content management systems.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and website content management.
Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
Experience with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred
Experience in the health, wellness, beauty, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of e-commerce integrations, payment gateways, and digital marketing practices.
