Web Designer & Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. This role combines creative digital design with robust web development, requiring a versatile professional capable of delivering engaging user experiences across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in UI/UX design, front-end and back-end development, and digital marketing strategies to create visually compelling and highly functional websites. Duties

Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, React, and Node.js.

Create engaging visual content including logos, motion graphics, and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Animate.

Implement UX/UI best practices through wireframing and prototyping with Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Balsamiq, and Axure to enhance usability and user engagement.

Optimize websites for SEO using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to improve visibility and performance.

Maintain existing websites through updates, security patches, content management (WordPress, Drupal), and website maintenance tasks.

Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve overall user experience.

Develop accessible websites adhering to web accessibility standards for inclusivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital marketing campaigns including email marketing via Mailchimp or similar platforms.

Manage version control using Git or other repositories to ensure efficient collaboration among team members.

Perform data analysis to track website performance metrics and suggest improvements based on insights gained.

Qualifications

Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, motion graphics, UI/UX principles, and web development.

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Less), JavaScript (AJAX, Angular, React), PHP, MySQL/SQL databases, and back-end frameworks like Node.js or Drupal.

Skilled in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; motion graphics with After Effects; prototyping with Figma or Adobe XD; wireframing with Balsamiq or Axure.

Familiarity with web accessibility standards and usability testing methodologies.

Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.

Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.

Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into effective design solutions.

Strong understanding of information architecture, typography principles, visual design concepts, and responsive front-end development techniques using Bootstrap or similar frameworks.

Experience working with version control systems such as Git; familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is preferred.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
