Web Developer
At Go Auto, we're looking for a Web Developer who enjoys building quality digital products and solving real-world problems.
You'll join a collaborative team of developers, creating high-performing websites and mobile applications that are beautiful, intuitive, and built to scale.
Working with technologies including Craft CMS, Next.js, React Native, and AI-powered development tools, you'll help deliver projects from concept through to launch while contributing ideas that improve both our products and development practices.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our development team, you'll:
Develop and maintain websites using Craft CMS and Next.js
Collaborate closely with designers to bring engaging user experiences to life
Integrate APIs, backend services, and databases
Optimise applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility
Troubleshoot, debug, and solve technical challenges
Contribute to the development of APIs and backend services (Python experience is a bonus)
Participate in code reviews and champion development best practices
Explore new tools, frameworks, and approaches that help us build better products and improve how we work
What We're Looking For
Proven experience developing web and mobile applications with strong proficiency in Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with Craft CMS preferred; candidates with strong experience in comparable CMS platforms and modern web frameworks are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and modern development workflows
Experience using AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving
Experience with Git and version control best practices
Strong debugging, testing, and deployment skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Python and backend development
Experience building mobile apps with React Native or similar frameworks
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices
