We’re supporting an innovative company operating within the Cybersecurity & Security Technology space, developing secure embedded platforms and next-generation connected devices used in mission-critical environments.

As part of continued growth, they’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their engineering team in Antwerp.

You’ll be working across low-level software development, embedded Linux platforms, and secure system architecture for highly reliable products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for Linux-based systems

Work on BSP development, device drivers, and low-level platform integration

Customize and maintain Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and Buildroot

Support system bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization

Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cybersecurity teams

Contribute to secure software design and system hardening

Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration activities

Requirements:

Strong experience with Embedded Software Development

Commercial experience with C and/or C++

Good knowledge of Embedded Linux environments

Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot

Understanding of low-level interfaces and hardware interaction

Familiarity with debugging tools and cross-compilation environments

Comfortable working within Agile engineering teams
