About the role
I’m currently working with a fast-growing fintech / crypto technology business looking to hire a Junior Developer to join their engineering team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys modern backend development, solving complex technical problems, and working within a fast-paced trading technology environment.
The Role
Maintain and improve internal applications and user interfaces using Rust, C++, and .NET technologies
Support 24/7 global operations and provide production support
Collaborate with senior engineers on new technologies, system improvements, and best practices
Work within an agile, autonomous, and international engineering team
Requirements
2–3 years’ commercial development experience
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong experience with Rust or C++ (object-oriented programming experience also considered)
Exposure to low-latency protocols
Familiarity with .NET is beneficial
Experience working in Linux environments
Strong interest in financial markets and blockchain technologies
Passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Exposure to multithreading, WebSocket/REST APIs, or high-throughput low-latency systems
Experience within fintech, trading, or crypto environments
This role would suit someone who enjoys learning, taking ownership, and working with cutting-edge technologies in the digital assets space.
