About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Ludhiana. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, coordinating with debtors and creditors, and supporting overall accounts management.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers.
Prepare and manage sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries.
Reconcile bank accounts and customer/vendor ledgers.
Follow up with debtors for outstanding payments.
Generate and maintain financial reports as required.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Assist in GST-related and other routine accounting work.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of accounting software preferred (Busy Accounting Software).
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
Preferred Skills
Experience in debtor and creditor management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and maintain records efficiently.
Professional telephone communication skills for payment follow-ups.
