Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Outside Sales Representative in residential HVAC to help grow our residential division in the Gatineau–Ottawa market.
This is a field-based role for someone who is comfortable selling directly to homeowners, conducting in-home consultations, and closing residential projects.
This is not an entry-level position. Proven, hands-on experience in residential HVAC sales is required.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new residential clients within approximately a 2-hour radius of Gatineau–Ottawa
Conduct in-home consultations, visits, and follow-ups with homeowners
Prepare and present clear, tailored quotes for each homeowner, explaining options, pricing, and available financing
Sell residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and water heaters
Sell complementary home services, including duct cleaning, Aeroseal, attic insulation, carpet cleaning, and more
Maintain strong follow-up discipline, as most sales close on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th contact
Manage your pipeline and keep your records updated in our CRM tools, including Pipedrive and ServiceMonster
Build long-term trust with clients and generate referrals
Work closely with operations and management to align sales with service delivery
Candidate Profile
Requirements
Proven experience selling residential HVAC systems
Bilingual in French and English
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Comfortable with in-home sales, prospecting, and closing deals
Strong organizational skills and experience using a CRM
Independent, motivated, and results-oriented
Assets
Existing residential HVAC client base or referral network in the Gatineau–Ottawa region
Track record of exceeding sales targets in residential HVAC
Experience selling complementary home services
Preference will be given to candidates who are currently selling residential HVAC systems in the Gatineau or Ottawa markets.
What We Offer
High base salary of $70,000, while most HVAC sales roles are 100% commission-based
Uncapped commission, with realistic total income of $100,000 to $150,000 for strong salespeople, and up to $200,000+ for top performers
