About the role

Comfort Group of Companies is a well-established residential construction company known for quality workmanship, strong builder relationships, and a hands-on leadership culture. We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Sales Representative / Estimator to conduct blueprint takeoffs, perform on-site assessments, and present tailored insulation solutions to builders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management: Promptly respond to high quality, company-provided leads and actively self source new prospect through local Ottawa Networking

On-Site Assessment & Teakeoffs: Perform accurate on site measurements and read construction plans/blue prints to determine insulation requirements.

Quoting & Consulting: Educate clients on the performance benefits or various insulation types (fiberglass, rigid board, spray foam) and prepare detailed, accurate pricing quotes.

Deal Closing: Build long-term trust with builders, overcome objections, and proactively follow up on outstanding bids to close.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 1-3 years of sales, estimating, or construction experience is an asset (insulation, drywall, or roofing experience is a major plus)

Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn blueprint readings, local Ontario building Code (OBC) insulation standards and digital quoting software

Physical Ability: Comfort walking active construction site, navigating low-rise framing, and climbing ladders safely.

License & Transit: must possess a valid Ontario class G driver's license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel to local job sites.

Soft skills: Excellent verbal communication, a highly positive attitude, and a strong inner drive to hit performance and earning goals.
