Job Overview
Sarnia based distributor of Industrial Valve & Instrumentation Products is expanding and has a new position for an experienced Technical Sales Person who can demonstrate technical proficiency and presentation skills. Must in the opinion of management posess a strong work ethic, high energy and outgoing personality and have the willingness to consistently complete a full weekly schedule of management directed prearranged and cold sales calls with physical sales samples to discuss and demonstrate products to customers. Territory to include parts of Ontario and Eastern Canada.
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Outside Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential clients, demonstrating our innovative products, and providing tailored technical solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-sales activities including product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions based on their technical needs.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through proactive outreach and networking.
Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop customized proposals and technical specifications.
Provide ongoing support and consultation during the sales process to ensure client satisfaction.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to effectively position our products.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Skills
Experience with industrial valves and instrumentation equipment.
Cold calling and Presentation Skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform effective technical sales calls
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences, including engineers and plant maintenance personnel.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual who combines technical expertise with a passion for sales, eager to contribute to a growing company by delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
