Role Summary
We are currently seeking applicants for the role of Retail Store Associate Manager for both Cannabis and Liquor retail locations. The successful candidate will be compassionate, responsible, and well-educated in cannabis and liquor, with a strong ability to engage positively with the community and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the nuances of the ever-evolving cannabis and alcohol industries and are eager to grow within a dynamic retail setting. Across both of our stores, we offer strong opportunities for advancement, with many Retail Store Associates progressing to management-level positions within a year. The ideal candidate holds high expectations for themselves and their teammates, is willing to take on responsibility, and is ready to assist wherever needed to ensure the overall success of their location
Responsibilities
- Report to duty punctually, and in appropriate and outlines attire according to dress code standards
- Maintain company standards and policies while ensuring that legal standards are met
- Greet customers throughout the day in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Confidently represent the brand and ideals
- Educate customers on products and how to safely consume
- Receive, organize, and categorize products and accessories
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained daily
- Check identification of customers who appear to be 25 years of age or under
- Abide by all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a retail setting is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a liquor/cannabis or similar retail environment, with 1+ years in a supervisory role.
- Valid CannaSell Cannabis Retail Certification
- Valid Serve it Right Saskatchewan (SIRS)
- A clean criminal background check from local authorities
- Availability for shift work any time between 9:00am – 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
