The company also provides hosting and secure (SSL) solutions to ensure performance and reliability.SED is part of the French ABEO Group, one of the global leaders in sports and leisure equipment, which unites its employees around shared values: trust, perseverance, and team spirit.Your ResponsabilitiesWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Designer to design and develop engaging, safe, and commercially viable attractions for Family Entertainment Centres (FECs) including trampoline parks, ninja courses, indoor play areas, climbing structures, and adventure-based installations.The role combines creative design thinking with engineering feasibility, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable, and user-focused products.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & Development- Conceptualize and design new FEC attractions and equipment based on market trends and client requirements.- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, safety, and durability.- Design products in compliance with international safety standards (e.g., ASTM, EN standards for amusement equipment).- Work closely with sales, marketing, and project teams to align design concepts with client expectations.- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the FEC space.- Participate in prototype development and testing phases. Develop initial 2D/3D designs, layouts, and Mock up using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools. Create innovative concepts for indoor and outdoor recreational products.Engineering & Manufacturing Integration Select appropriate materials considering usage, cost, and safety compliance. Collaborate with Design and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth execution and fabrication.Safety & Compliance Conduct risk assessments and incorporate safety features into every design.Cross-functional Collaboration Support proposal development with conceptual layouts and visuals.Research & Innovation Conduct market research and contribute to product innovation strategies.Prototyping & Testing Analyze performance and user feedback to refine designs.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Product DesignSkills Required Strong understanding of product design principles, ergonomics, and user experience. Solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and structural design concepts. Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into innovative product solutions. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator. Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Experience in designing products for manufacturability, safety, and cost efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of international safety standards and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across sales, design, engineering, and marketing teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems is an advantage.
