As a Project Manager, Medical Imaging, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to high complexity imaging studies and participate in cross-functional initiatives. You will provide day-to-day leadership across internal teams and external stakeholders, establish delivery governance, proactively manage risk and change, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. In addition, you will mentor Associate Project Managers to strengthen our delivery capability.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Owns resolution and decision-making for medium to complex studies, applying senior judgement to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and delivery risk.

Uses recommended portfolio, program, departmental, and project processes and workflows for planning, scheduling, and tracking.

Ensures that robust, realistic project plans are maintained and that regular, accurate communication is provided to stakeholders at all levels

Ensures that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure

Leads change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets are signed off

Leads cross-functional stakeholders to align on project scope, priorities, timelines, and dependencies, driving actions to keep delivery on track.

People Management

Where applicable manages and mentors a small number of Associate Project Managers and/or Project Managers by setting clear performance expectations and objectives, providing regular coaching and feedback and ensuring priorities and workload are balanced to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Change Management

Leads in the assessment, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for change.

Contribute to the improvement of policies and procedures by identifying gaps, risks, or inefficiencies at study level and partnering with cross functional stakeholders to drive practical change.

Business Risk

Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.

Project Monitoring and Reporting

Regularly reviews the study status reports which may include status of site qualification, image processing, result reporting, and query management across all supported projects, and follow up with the applicable internal groups or imaging centres as needed.

Data Management

Provides oversight and coordination to resolve data reconciliation findings, partnering with Data Management, SciMed and Operations to drive timely, compliant resolution.

Drives proactive data quality monitoring and governance, ensuring outlier and trend reports are reviewed, actions are assigned, and follow-up is completed.

Relationship Management

Leads stakeholder engagement and communication plans for assigned projects/programs, including senior client stakeholders and internal leadership when applicable.

Leads resolution of complex study-specific problems and escalations, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, capturing lessons learned, and driving sustainable improvements.

Provides a high level of customer service with timely communication and support, influencing outcomes through effective negotiation, expectation setting, and conflict management.

Financial Management

Owns end to end financial stewardship of assigned studies, including study budget tracking, revenue recognition accuracy, and forecast integrity, in partnership with finance.

Maintains an accurate, up to date study budget, ensuring alignment between contracted scope, approved change orders (CIS), and actual delivery activities.

Proactively identifies financial risks and variance, including work at risk, margin erosion, or forecast gaps, and escalates appropriately with recommended mitigation actions.

Develops and maintains forward looking study forecasts, including revenue, effort, and key cost drivers, updating forecasts on a monthly basis.

Manages financial resources effectively, ensuring budgetary compliance and achieving financial targets

Maintains an in‑depth understanding of Perceptive technologies and imaging processes, using this knowledge to guide decision‑making, troubleshoot challenges, and support client expectations.

Highly organized, detail‑driven, and systematic, ensuring documentation, governance, and delivery standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Takes proactive ownership of tasks and project deliverables, and drives them to completion, escalating early and proposing solutions where risks or blockers emerge.

Leads others through change by anticipating impacts, setting clear expectations, and maintaining delivery performance during shifting conditions.

Efficiently structures, prioritizes and delegates work effectively across competing demands, ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded without compromising quality.

Experience, Education, and Certifications

4 - 6 Years Overall Working Experience

Strong proven experience in medical imaging and/or clinical development within the life sciences industry.

leadership of medium to high complexity, client-facing studies or programs is a plus / preferred.

Significant experience using tools (e.g., MS Office) to communicate complex project status, risks, financials and decisions to internal and external stakeholders, including senior audiences.

Bachelor's degree in biological science, health science, technology or equivalent education with relevant experience.

Experience of mentoring and leading others, a plus.
