Job Summary:

The Ocean Export Customer Service will manage export shipments, coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers to ensure smooth handling of ocean freight for both key accounts or regular shipments. The position requires knowledge of export processes, documentation and customer service within the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end‑to‑end ocean export shipments from booking to final sailing.

Place bookings with shipping lines and coordinate confirmations with clients, carriers, and overseas agents.

Process SI, VGM, BL instructions, and shipment documentation.

Monitor cargo readiness, container planning, and sailing schedules to ensure timely shipment execution.

Release MBL from shipping lines and issue final MBLs to customers.

Provide timely shipment updates and status reports to customers.

Resolve customer queries and operational issues efficiently through coordination with internal teams.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation, managing amendments with concerned parties.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation is a must.

Experience in Freight forwarding Industry only.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of USA & RoW export markets.

Knowledge of Sea (FCL) export process.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong customer service and client communication skills.

Knowledge of SI, VGM, BL and export documentation workflow.

Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
