Job Title: - Accounts Executive / Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, supporting audits, and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) Manage vendor invoices, process payments, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely and accurate payment of obligations.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate customer invoices, track outstanding balances, process collections, and maintain accurate receivable records.
Bank Reconciliation Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all cash transactions are accurately recorded.
Financial Reporting Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, analyse financial data, and support management with accurate financial information.
General Ledger Management Maintain general ledger accounts, post journal entries, reconcile balances, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Compliance and Audit Support Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations, maintain proper documentation, and assist with internal and external audits.
Financial Analysis and Budgeting Support budgeting and forecasting processes, perform variance analysis, and provide financial insights to assist business decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal departments, management, vendors, and external stakeholders to support financial operations and organizational goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
CA Inter or CMA equivalent qualification preferred.
1-3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
