About the role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Manager – Solar who will primarily be responsible for end-to-end project coordination and execution management of solar EPC projects. The role involves coordinating between internal teams, vendors, clients, and government authorities to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination & Execution
Coordinate all phases of solar projects from order confirmation to commissioning.
Align engineering, procurement, and installation teams for smooth execution.
Track daily project progress and ensure milestone adherence.
Identify bottlenecks and resolve execution challenges promptly.
2. Cross-Functional Team Coordination
Act as a bridge between Sales, Design, Procurement, Accounts, and Site Teams.
Ensure material availability before site execution.
Schedule manpower and installation resources efficiently.
Conduct internal review meetings to track progress.
3. Vendor & Site Management
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery.
Monitor site activities and ensure quality standards.
Ensure adherence to safety norms and company guidelines.
4. Client & Authority Coordination
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding progress updates.
Coordinate with DISCOM and other authorities for approvals and net-metering.
Ensure smooth handover and commissioning process.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain complete project documentation (BOQ, drawings, approvals, invoices).
Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Budget & Timeline Monitoring
Monitor project cost against budget.
Ensure projects are completed within defined timelines.
Highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
3–8 years of experience in solar project coordination or EPC execution.
Strong understanding of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Required Skills:
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of solar PV systems and net-metering processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project (preferred).
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
On-time project completion.
Inter-departmental coordination efficiency.
Client satisfaction.
Budget adherence.
Zero compliance or documentation delays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
