Civil Engineer
About the role
1. Role Objective
Plan, design, execute & monitor civil construction activities to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and as per quality/safety standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Design & Planning
Drawing Review: Study architectural, structural, GFC drawings and identify gaps
Estimation: Prepare BOQ, BBS, rate analysis, quantity takeoff for civil works
Planning: Make micro-schedule for RCC, brickwork, plaster, flooring activities
Coordination: Liaise with architect, structural consultant, MEP teams for clash resolution
B. Site Execution & Supervision
Layout & Marking: Set out building lines, column marking, level marking with total station/auto level
Quality Control: Check shuttering, reinforcement, concrete grade, slump, cube testing
Workmanship: Supervise masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works
Material Management: Raise indents, check material receipts, control wastage Contractor Management: Allocate work to civil contractors, check productivity, billing
C. Compliance & Documentation
Safety: Implement PPE, barricading, scaffolding safety as per OSHA/NBC norms
QA/QC: Maintain pour cards, checklists, cube test registers, material test reports
Billing: Joint measurement with contractors, certify RA bills, reconciliation
Statutory: Ensure compliance with local bylaws, NOC, pollution, labor laws
Reporting*: Daily progress report, weekly plan vs actual, delay analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Ludhiana, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
