About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Identify, document, and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities.
Perform quality checks using measuring instruments, testing equipment, and inspection tools.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and processes.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or quality improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with quality testing instruments and calibration procedures.
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Certification in Quality Management or Quality Engineering is an added advantage.
Experience in CNC, fabrication, woodworking, construction materials, or manufacturing industries preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
