About the role
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to design, develop, and execute automated test suites for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium or Playwright
Work closely with QA and development teams to identify testing requirements and contribute to detailed test plans
Perform manual testing when required to ensure complete coverage of functional and regression scenarios
Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects with clear and detailed documentation
Track, verify, and follow up on bug fixes to ensure timely resolution
Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of automation test frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and DevOps—to deliver high-quality product releases
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices
Required Skills
Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright
Version Control: Git
Languages : Python
Testing: Manual testing, regression testing, functional testing
Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test automation code
Good analytical and debugging skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Nice to Have (Optional)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
