Job Summary

WEBSTEP Technologies is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js & PHP) to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both modern JavaScript-based backend development and PHP frameworks, with the ability to independently handle projects from requirement analysis to deployment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for self-driven professionals with a problem-solving mind set, strong technical capabilities, and a commitment to delivering scalable, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js and PHP.

Develop and optimize backend portals, services, and database structures.

Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and data storage solutions.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot application issues, debug code, and implement effective resolutions.

Optimize website and application performance, scalability, and security.

Develop and integrate third-party APIs, services, and libraries.

Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure quality deliverables.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5–7 years of hands-on experience in web application development.

Proven experience in developing scalable and high-performance web applications.

Technical Skills

Backend Development

Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.

Experience with at least one Node.js framework such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.

Strong expertise in PHP development.

Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and/or CodeIgniter.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

Database & APIs

Experience with MySQL and database optimization techniques.

Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.

Front-End Technologies

Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.

Experience in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Qualities

Ability to manage complete development cycles with minimal supervision.

Strong ownership mind set and commitment to project delivery.

Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.

Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and excellent time-management skills.
