At the FM, we are creating a brand-new garden-museum experience for Singaporeans, by Singaporeans. A national landmark at the heart of our garden city, uncovering the story of how independent Singapore came to be, and bringing Singaporeans across generations together to reflect and have bold conversations about what our founding values mean today and for our future.

The FM is looking for a suitable candidate to join the Partnerships and Programmes team. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to growing FM's reach and impact through strategic partnerships and innovative programming. For this role, you will focus on business development efforts to cultivate new donor and partner relationships, and create meaningful opportunities for individuals, corporations, and stakeholders to invest in and contribute to FM's vision. [What you will be working on]

Partnership Development and Management: C ultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially corporate partners, foundations, philanthropic organisations, engaging them as strategic collaborators and funders in advancing FM's mission and objectives .

Fundraising Strategy and Business Development : Develop and implement fundraising strategies and frameworks to grow FM's donor base and secure financial support, including through grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual giving. Identify and pursue new business development opportunities that align with FM's interests .

Donor Programmes and Outreach : Develop and oversee donor recognition and privileges programmes, including the implementation of naming benefits, and identify opportunities for in-kind support for FM's programmes. Support end-to-end fundraising campaigns and donor outreach initiatives. Design compelling pitches and materials that attract and resonate with diverse donor audiences.

Retail and F&B cont racting : Support the sourcing and setting up of FM's retail shop and F&B establishment s and develop the relevant operational and rental guidelines. Work with the Legal team to develop and finalise Tenancy or Lease agreements .

Venue Operations Scope out, develop and operationalise framework for public use of FM’s venues and common spaces.

[What we are looking for]

Background in a relevant field such as business development , customer service and communications

Preferably a t least five years of relevant experience , with a track record in partnership management and business development . Work experience in a museum or attraction setting is an advantage but not mandatory .

Project Management - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, from fundraising campaigns to retail and venue operations, and work effectively across internal teams and external partners.

Stakeholder Engagement - Genuine interest in people and relationship-building, with the ability to engage authentically with diverse stakeholders including corporates, foundations, and individual donors across different backgrounds and cultures.

Business Development - Familiarity with or the ability to pick up quickly evaluation methods to track the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, stewardship efforts, and business development initiatives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Good command of the English language (written and verbal) – candidates who are proficient in a Mother Tongue language will be considered favourably as selected candidate would be required to engage diverse groups of non-English speaking stakeholders.

As the FM is an institution being built from the ground-up, the candidate should be able to navigate changes, multiple stakeholders and a fast-moving environment where processes are still being established . Familiarity with or willingness to learn government tools and procurement guidelines will also be essential .

Some weekend and after-work hours engagements might be required – candidates should be prepared to exercise some flexibility in his/her work schedule
