Position Description:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to manage our sales team, driving equipment and consumables sales of the Miraclon Flexcel NX Solutions across the Asia Pacific Region.
Job Responsibilities:
Aggressively drive net new customer acquisition in accordance with Miraclon’s value selling approach.
Target significant growth of Miraclon Flexcel NX products, hardware, software, and consumables.
Manage a team of Sales Managers and Channel Partners to execute a commercial plan in all territories.
Customer specific planning and consulting, as well as identification of short, medium, and long-term business opportunities.
Acquisition of net-new customers, and expansion of existing customers.
Create links between flexo plate trade shops and packaging printers.
Work alongside the region’s Optimised Flexible Packaging (OFP) team to identify strategic customers (printers and converters) to identify and implement Modern Flexo and OFP projects.
Participation in the preparation and implementation of sales and marketing activities, as well as follow up.
Reporting according to company policy.
Internal cooperation with all relevant departments (such as Customer Care Team, Technical Application Team, Hardware Service, etc.).
Manage the region’s sales and technical teams to identify commercially measurable on-press plate tests to increase market share in selected packaging printers.
Education, Skills & Experience:
Significant regional sales experience, preferably in flexographic printing, or a similar field.
Educated to degree level.
Active and sound knowledge in the field of flexible packaging industry.
Sound understanding of the workflow of customers and target customers, and their requirements and needs, prepress and preferably print production a bonus.
Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to sales.
Excellent industry and market knowledge, with significant C-level contacts across the region.
Experience in managing sales and technical support teams.
Highly customer-centric.
Strong communication skills (including negotiating and presenting).
Flexibility and resilience.
Willingness to travel extensively within Asia Pacific.
English language skills a must, regional language skills a bonus.
