As we our footprint, we are seeking a driven, highly autonomous sales professional to establish, grow, and dominate the North Carolina market.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, strategic North Carolina Sales Representative to spearhead our growth in the region. This dual-focus role requires a blend of high-level architectural specification sales and grassroots relationship building.

You will split your focus between driving commercial specifications with Landscape Architects and Civil Engineers, and building a robust network of hardscape contractors, builders, and installers to pull product through the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Specifications: Educate, influence, and build relationships with Landscape Architects, Civil Engineers, and Municipal Planners to ensure Lowcountry Paver products are specified in commercial, municipal, and large-scale residential projects.

Technical Presentations: Deliver AIA/CES continuing education presentations, product presentations, and technical seminars to design firms.

Project Tracking: Identify and track commercial project pipelines from the early design and planning phases through to bidding and construction.

Value Engineering Defense: Defend specified Lowcountry Paver products against competitor substitutions during the bidding process.

Contractor & Installer Network Development

Relationship Management: Actively prospect, onboard, and nurture relationships with hardscape contractors, landscape installers, and commercial sub-contractors across North Carolina.

Product Advocacy: Provide hands-on product support, literature, and training to installers to ensure confidence in using Lowcountry Paver over alternative brands.

Sales Pipeline Management: Coordinate with local distributors and dealers to ensure seamless fulfillment for contractor orders.

Territory Growth & Strategy

Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to hit and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of project leads, firm interactions, contractor accounts, and sales pipelines within the company CRM.

Industry Representation: Represent Lowcountry Paver at regional trade shows, industry association events (ASLA, NCMA, ICPI), and networking functions.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3–5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within the building materials, hardscapes, concrete, or commercial construction industry.

Specification Sales Track Record: Proven experience reading blueprints, architectural drawings, and navigating the architectural specification process. Existing relationships with North Carolina design firms and civil engineers is highly preferred.

Relationship-Driven: Ability to seamlessly pivot from a boardroom presentation with senior principal architects to a job site discussion with a hardscape crew.

Autonomy: Highly self-motivated and disciplined; comfortable managing a large geographic territory with minimal daily supervision.

Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively throughout the North Carolina territory (valid driver's license and clean driving record required).
