Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Outside Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts and our market presence. In this pivotal role, you will actively engage with potential clients, develop strategic partnerships, and manage key accounts to drive revenue growth. Your leadership will inspire a high-performing sales team, foster strong customer relationships, and leverage innovative marketing and technology tools to achieve ambitious sales targets. Industrial Outside Sales.Packaging/Material Handling Products and equipment.Our target accounts are usually large distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. We have three(3)

stocking warehouses in South Carolina (Spartanburg, Greenville and Columbia) with over

55 years serving the industrial community. Our sales representatives live in their territory and come home every night. We will provide training for the right candidate albeit some experience

in B2B(Business to Business) sales is preferred. There is a Guaranteed Salary/commission structure plus travel allowance.Benefits include 401K, PTO.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market analysis

Develop tailored sales strategies that align with client needs and company goals, utilizing advanced CRM tools like Salesforce

Manage existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth through effective account management practices

Lead, motivate, and train a dynamic sales team to meet or exceed sales objectives in a competitive environment

Conduct detailed negotiations with clients to close deals that benefit both parties while maintaining profitability

Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand visibility

Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies, forecast performance, and identify areas for improvement in technology sales and business development efforts

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of exceeding targets

Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative environment

Expertise in negotiation, customer service, and relationship building to secure long-term partnerships

Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for tracking sales activities and managing client information

Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data, sales metrics, and competitive intelligence

Knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to driving demand and brand positioning

Demonstrated leadership in business development initiatives with a focus on strategic growth opportunities

Effective communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization
