Product Engineer (Full-Stack / Agentic AI)

About the role
About the Role
A fast-growing, Series A-backed PropTech company operating across Europe is looking for a Product Engineer to join a lean, high-impact team. You'll build agentic AI systems that observe, decide, and act on real-world property operations — with humans in the loop. This is a high-ownership role where you ship end-to-end features, modernize legacy systems, and turn messy operational workflows into reliable, autonomous software.
What You'll Do
Own features end-to-end and develop deep enough business understanding to drive solutions independently.
Design and build agentic AI workflows for guest communication (chat and voice), operational decision-making, and property task management.
Modernize legacy systems and redesign data structures to meet evolving product requirements.
Shadow real-world workflows to uncover inefficiencies, workarounds, and hidden steps, then translate them into clean, production-ready software.
Scope, ship, and iterate on problems — not just process tickets.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to align product and engineering work.
Operate with high agency and ownership to deliver results rapidly and safely.
What We're Looking For
Required: Strong, demonstrable engineering experience you can show during the hiring process.
Required: Proficiency in TypeScript and React for full-stack development.
Familiarity with Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS; comfortable using Linear and Notion for tracking and documentation.
Strong product taste — attention to user experience down to messaging and interaction wording.
Ability to manage yourself: plan work, communicate progress, and flag blockers proactively.
Track record of shipping quickly while exercising sound judgment about what can safely break.
Fluent spoken and written English; strong communication skills including asking the right questions to move work forward.
Comfortable working in an agentic engineering style (e.g., running multiple AI coding agents and terminals in parallel).
Thrives in a small, accountable team focused on outcomes over meetings.
Willingness to relocate to Berlin, Germany and work from the office regularly.
Bonus: Experience with agentic AI systems, prior startup experience, founder mentality, or background in hospitality or PropTech.
