Manufacturing Specialist

ECIC Consulting is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to support operational improvement initiatives for manufacturing clients throughout the Tri State area. The role involves working directly with manufacturing leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement operational changes, facilitate training programs, and support long term business growth.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and leadership development. This individual should be comfortable working with executives, plant managers, supervisors, and production personnel across a variety of manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct operational assessments and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and overall business performance

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing projects and Kaizen events

Facilitate value stream mapping exercises and process improvement workshops

Develop and deliver lean manufacturing training programs

Develop and deliver leadership training programs for supervisors, managers, and leadership teams

Coach manufacturing leaders on communication, accountability, problem solving, performance management, and organizational development

Support facility layout improvements, workflow optimization, and material flow analysis

Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Assist clients with ERP implementation, process standardization, and operational system improvements

Develop recommendations and implementation plans based on operational findings

Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to client leadership teams

Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining project schedules and deliverables

Support clients through implementation and sustainment of operational improvements

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, plant management, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or a related field

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, scheduling, quality systems, and workforce management

Experience leading lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Experience developing and delivering training programs

Experience coaching and developing supervisors and managers

Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills

Ability to build relationships with personnel at all levels of an organization

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

Ability to travel regularly to client facilities throughout the Tri State area

Preferred Qualifications

Lean certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience

Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software platforms

Experience with facility layout design and operational workflow improvements

Experience in food manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, consumer products, or industrial manufacturing environments

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
