Quality Manager
About the role
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the overall quality management function of the plant, including quality systems, in-process quality control, supplier quality management, new project quality planning, customer complaint resolution, and quality team leadership.
The role ensures compliance with customer requirements, IATF 16949 standards, and EHS regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System & Audit Management
Maintain and continuously improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
Standardize the implementation of quality tools and methodologies.
Coordinate internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
Lead corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformities.
Manufacturing Quality Control
Oversee product quality throughout all manufacturing processes, including:
Injection molding
Blow molding
Wrapping
Spraying/Painting
Assembly
Identify and eliminate recurring quality issues.
Reduce process abnormalities and scrap rates.
Incoming Material & Finished Goods Quality
Manage incoming material inspection and supplier quality performance.
Establish quality standards for inspection, packaging, warehousing, and shipping processes.
Ensure proper protection and handling of finished products.
New Projects & Engineering Change Management
Lead APQP activities for new product launches.
Conduct risk assessments and quality planning activities.
Coordinate trial production runs and PPAP submissions.
Mitigate quality risks related to engineering changes and material modifications.
Customer Quality Management
Manage customer complaints and quality concerns.
Lead 8D problem-solving activities.
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Resolve critical quality incidents to minimize customer impact and financial losses.
Supplier Quality Management
Conduct supplier audits and quality assessments.
Monitor supplier performance metrics.
Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives to ensure stable incoming quality.
KPI Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators.
Prepare and present periodic quality reports.
Ensure timely closure of quality issues through structured improvement plans.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Department.
Conduct performance evaluations and skills development programs.
Foster employee engagement and reduce turnover within the quality team.
Shopfloor Quality Management
Ensure compliance with 5S standards throughout the plant.
Implement quality risk prevention measures on the production floor.
Prevent part mix-ups, contamination, and handling-related quality issues.

QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Quality Management within the automotive industry.
Proven experience managing:
Quality Systems
Customer Quality
Supplier Quality
Manufacturing Quality
New Product Launches (APQP / PPAP)
Experience with automotive plastic manufacturing processes is highly preferred.

Employment Conditions
Direct contract with the company.
Start date: ASAP.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
