Field Technitian

As an Field Technitian you will work with installation and repair of electrical systems, electronic components wires and conduits for the IT department.

Specific Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools

Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays

Assisting with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, IT panels, motors, and circuit

Helping to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as: access control panels and components, lighting, and power supplies, cameras and network equipment

Tracing out short circuits in wiring, using test meter

Examining electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools

Constructing controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches

Cleaning work area

Maintaining tools and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

Specific Requirements

1-5 years of electrical experience

Valid driver's license in state of practice

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel

Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work

Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems

Willing to work overtime

High standard of integrity and professionalism
