The Role and Impact As a Module Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Intel's success in high-volume manufacturing and the mass production of integrated circuits. Your expertise will enable rapid device miniaturization, optimization of processes, and enhancement of manufacturing efficiencies. By pioneering advancements in equipment and processes, you will directly contribute to Intel's mission to deliver cutting-edge technology to customers around the world. Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, facilitating device miniaturization and mass production of integrated circuits.
Conduct tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity within the process line.
Recommend and implement equipment modifications to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Scale in-situ manufacturing capacity to high volumes and transfer technology to global manufacturing counterparts.
Execute maintenance and repairs for equipment and associated module components to optimize performance.
Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield through process and equipment enhancements.
Collaborate with equipment suppliers to optimize tool performance and resolve issues.
Develop and refine systems to prevent excursions and detect discrepancies in material or equipment processes.
Lead equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps, ensuring all tools meet safety, quality, and manufacturing-readiness standards.
Support the transfer of technology to other sites through comprehensive training and audits to ensure consistent processes across facilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or BS degree in a specialized field, or equivalent experience aligned with business needs or job requirements.
4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, process characterization, and process improvement methodologies.
Experience with equipment monitoring, adjustment, and troubleshooting to optimize performance.
Commitment to an initial 1-year contract term, with openness to a performance-based 1-year extension.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and disciplined execution in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and global partners to drive process optimization.
Familiarity with leading technology transfers and scaling manufacturing processes to high volumes.
