Role Summary

We are looking for a Finance Associate to join Marex Brazil, playing a key role in financial control, transformation, and growth in the region. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting for Marex, while maintaining a strong financial control environment. The role will also act as a key driver of Finance transformation, aligned with the firm's global agenda.

Responsibilities

Own and manage Finance activities for Marex Brazil, working closely with global Finance teams

Lead the transition of finance activities from Operations into Finance

Design and implement a robust financial control framework, including payments and cost accruals

Act as the main Finance liaison in Brazil with Group Legal Entity Control, UK Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Product Control

Support the build-out of the Finance function in a growing business and region

Contribute to global Finance initiatives (SOX, balance sheet substantiation, monthly P&L)

Partner with Brazil Operations and global CFOs on strategic and operational initiatives

Ensure compliance with relevant global and local regulatory requirements

Operate within Marex's operational risk framework, escalating issues as required

Act as a role model for integrity, ethics, and company values

Skills and Experience:

Strong experience in Financial Control, Accounting, or Finance within regulated environments

Ability to operate in a global, matrixed organization

Hands-on, proactive mindset with experience driving process improvement and change
