Job Description : QA Automation
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand and validate data layer specifications.
Write automated test cases using Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript to validate analytics implementations across web applications.
Implement and maintain continuous regression testing for data layers, performing pre and post-release checks after every deployment.
Identify and address issues related to analytics data accuracy and integrity promptly.
Optimize analytics implementations to ensure comprehensive tracking of user interactions and business metrics.
Document test plans, test cases, and test results related to analytics testing.
Conduct root cause analysis for complex analytics issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
Lead training sessions or workshops to educate team members on analytics best practices and tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements for new features or projects.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy of the organization.
Mentor junior team members in analytics validation techniques and automation practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on analytics testing and automation.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics, including extensive experience with analytics objects on web applications.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript, for regression testing.
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with the Shopify platform is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in e-commerce or retail industries, particularly with Shopify-based applications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
