About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating various cutting machinery to accurately cut materials such as round bar, threaded rod, and other fabrication components. Your expertise will ensure precision in every cut, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of our production process. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong mechanical aptitude with a passion for manufacturing excellence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of cutting equipment and marking machines
Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards during production.
Maintain safety protocols by properly handling equipment like forklifts and cranes while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Assist in other additional tasks around the facility.
Experience
Manufacturing experience preferred
1-2 years Saw experience
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
Experience working with safety equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), cranes, and other heavy machinery is highly desirable.
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
