We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately, while also maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
Duties
Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink offerings.
Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items are presented attractively.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Assist with the sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness.
Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest safety.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to meet customer needs efficiently.
Skills
Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of various menu items.
Experience in a nightclub or similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
Proficient in food handling practices and sanitation standards.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively while assisting guests with their selections.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
Familiarity with cash register operations for processing payments accurately.
Previous experience in food service is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining compliance.
