Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service and will support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooks and chefs.
Help buss tables and clear away used dishes during peak service times to ensure efficient workflow.
Support catering events by ensuring all serving equipment is clean and ready for use.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen environment.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
