Overview: Wishing Well Preschool is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Enrichment Center. Our daycare facility, established in 1994, prioritizes creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing our progressive curriculum to support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development.

Our program is a traditional preschool program meaning we operate during the school year and coincide with the North Royalton school calendar.

We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher. We welcome both experienced, credentialed educators and individuals with little or no experience who are passionate about working with children. Training and coaching are provided to support your success and growth.

Overview

Teachers at Wishing Well Preschool are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will support children’s academic, social-emotional, and physical development while maintaining a high standard of care, supervision, and compliance with all federal, state, and local childcare licensing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily care, supervision, and engagement for children in assigned age group

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and classroom routines

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Supervise children at all times in accordance with licensing requirements

Assist with diapering, feeding, toileting, and daily care routines as needed

Communicate professionally and consistently with families regarding child progress and daily updates

Maintain required documentation, including attendance records and incident reports

Follow all center policies, procedures, and state licensing regulations

Participate in training, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and/or assist children, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 35–50 pounds

Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods throughout the day

Ability to continuously move throughout the classroom, playground, and facility to actively supervise children

Ability to engage in active play, instruction, diapering, feeding, and daily care routines

Ability to visually and auditorily supervise children at all times in indoor and outdoor settings

Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations, including evacuations and assisting injured children

Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and tolerate varying weather conditions
