Standards of Excellence Pre-K Academy is a small preschool located inside an elementary school in Akron, OH. We are professional and innovative, striving to meet the unique needs of each family we encounter!
We provide before and after-school care for school-aged kids in elementary, while also providing daycare for children in Preschool and Pre- K.

Lead Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Work (Monday - Friday) - Implement age-appropriate educational activities following our lesson plans (Creative Curriculum) for preschool-aged children - Support a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development - Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those with autism - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning - Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Assist with assessing student progress and providing feedback to parents/guardians
Requirements: - Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting - Knowledge of math and literacy education for young children - Familiarity with working with students with autism or other special needs - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Ability to implement our engaging lesson plans and adapt them to meet the needs of individual students - Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
