STEM Teacher

Menlo Park Academy, Ohio’s only public school exclusively serving gifted children in grades K-8, is seeking a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Teacher to instruct a STEM encore class for all students grades K-8. We seek experienced educators with preparation and experience to teach technology to our middle school students to advance their knowledge and skills related to understanding and using technology. Menlo is working toward applying for an ODE STEM designation and so the person in this position should be prepared to combine the use of technology into STEM projects and learning opportunities. An Ohio Educational Technology Endorsement or similar certificate is preferred.

Menlo is Ohio’s only public community school dedicated to the education of gifted learners, grades K to 8. We seeks teachers with the mindset and skills to teach collaboratively in a flexible space learning environment. Teachers must effectively collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the program and be dedicated to designing and implementing engaging learning activities that are intellectually challenging.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
