Certified Pharmacy Tech
PRN Position
Variable 8-hour shifts - Primarily from 7am to 10pm - Occasional coverage for the overnight shift from 9pm-7am
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions
May be expected to perform related clerical duties
Receives and stores incoming supplies
Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of tasks
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
Texas Pharmacy Technician Certification required
No experience necessary
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.
