Job Description
Your opportunity
As an Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role within the team, combining client ownership, strategic advisory, and people leadership to drive both client and business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead the delivery of tax and accounting solutions across a diverse portfolio including privately owned businesses, family groups, SMEs, trusts, partnerships, and international structures
Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and leading high-value engagements from planning through to delivery
Take ownership of a significant client portfolio, including leading meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions with senior stakeholders
Oversee and review complex compliance and advisory work, ensuring technical excellence and commercial value
Drive strategic advisory engagements, including structuring, growth initiatives, and business transformation projects
Collaborate across KPMG to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions
Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and the practice
Lead, coach and inspire a team, fostering a high-performance, inclusive and collaborative culture
Play a key role in resource planning, team development, and performance management, supporting capability uplift across the team

Your Experience
Proven experience at Senior Manager or Associate Director level within a professional services or advisory environment
Strong background in private business tax, accounting, and advisory services
Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements and stakeholder relationships
Track record of leading, coaching and developing teams
Experience across a mix of compliance and advisory work, including structuring and mid-market client issues
Strong commercial acumen with an ability to contribute to business development and growth initiatives
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CA/CPA or equivalent).
