This teammate supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of Student and Early Talent programs and events that create a positive and memorable experience. Contributes to the development and execution of program initiatives by supporting and leading event logistics, communications, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. Works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to bring programs and events to life, from concept through execution, while ensuring a high level of organization, attention to detail, and creativity. Assists in developing proposals, presentations, and budgets, while gathering feedback and insights to continuously enhance program effectiveness and impact.
Additional Key Responsibilities
Support and lead the planning and execution of events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person), including logistics coordination, timelines, vendor management, and on-site support.
Develop clear and compelling presentations, proposals, and communications to support program initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
Assist in building detailed event and program budgets; track expenses and ensure delivery within budget.
Support the development of program and event strategies aligned to business goals and stakeholder needs.
Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of all program and event components.
Create and deliver engaging presentations to internal and external groups and stakeholders, demonstrating strong public speaking skills.
Ensure all event communications, materials, and change management plans are clear, timely, and effective.
Monitor program and event performance, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the success and impact of events and programs.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Think creatively to enhance event experiences and introduce innovative ideas.
Additional Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program.
Demonstrated experience planning and executing events (e.g., through student clubs, extracurricular activities, or previous internships).
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence in presenting and public speaking.
Experience creating presentations, proposals, or pitch materials.
Highly positive, energetic, and proactive attitude with a strong customer-service mindset.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across teams.
Creative thinker with a passion for delivering engaging and impactful experiences.

Develops, promotes, maintains & manages designated HR program(s), performing periodic reviews, analyzing program outcomes, providing insights and making recommendations for enhancements/changes as required. Ensures the effective & efficient execution of all program components, including ensuring change management & communications are in place for any enhancements/changes and mitigating any risk. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Supports the development of the program strategy ensuring that key goals are delivered and are aligned to overall BMO goals.
Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
Supports the management of the HR program, including developing program components, promoting the program and ensuring the execution of all program components.
Designs measurable sustainment strategies including assessing and recommending mitigations for industry/ segment-specific risks and prioritizing opportunities presented by internal and external stakeholders.
Investigates, analyzes, documents & mitigates program risks and advises any issues or concerns to senior leaders.
Understands the purpose of the program and ensures that stakeholder needs are understood and integrated into the development & management of the program.
Analyzes the impact and effectiveness of the program through periodic reviews of the programs and makes recommendations to improve processes, procedures and/or policy
Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide program insights and recommendations.
Analyzes data and information to provide HR insights and recommendations.
Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Monitors and tracks program performance, and addresses any issues.
Manages the change management for any enhancements / changes and ensures that appropriate plans are in place to execute effectively.
Tracks exception requests and corresponding approvals.
Participates in the management of vendor relationships; ensures regular reviews are in place, key performance indicators are monitored, service level agreements are met and service costs are kept within budget.
Oversees project activities to ensure deadlines are met and program solutions are delivered as scheduled.
Leads/participates in the design, implementation and management of core program processes.
Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
Participates in assigned strategic initiatives impacting the overall program, providing insight and analytical support.
Continuously monitor industry developments and continuously update programs to ensure they are competitive and effective.
Manage the budget associated with the program, in addition to service costs.

Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Works mostly independently.

Qualifications:
Typically between 1-2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program management skills - Working.

Salary :
$45,500.00 - $84,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
