Plant Controller – Automotive (Querétaro, Mexico)

We are looking for a highly skilled Plant Controller to provide financial leadership at the plant level, ensuring compliance with internal control systems while driving cost efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.

This role plays a key part in supporting operations through cost analysis, financial reporting, and business decision-making, acting as a strategic partner for the plant and operations leadership.

Requisitos

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

5–7 years of experience in plant finance and cost accounting

Proven experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.

Experience working closely with operations, production, and supply chain teams.

Exposure to profitability improvement initiatives (EBIT optimization).

Specific Knowledge

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP principles.

Variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and cost control.

Inventory management and production cost tracking.

Financial reporting (P&L, efficiency reports, cost/kg, sales analysis).

Forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.

Systems knowledge:

SAP S4/Hana

Hyperion

Advanced Excel

Skills & Competencies

Ability to interpret complex financial data and support decision-making.

Highly organized with attention to detail.

Effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Ability to influence operations and leadership teams.
