In this role, you will serve as a senior legal partner to the People team, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions. This is a strategic and hands-on role for an experienced employment lawyer who can provide pragmatic day-to-day advice while also building scalable legal infrastructure for a high-growth, global company.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as the senior legal partner for HR, People, and business leaders on a wide range of day-to-day employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions

Advise on complex employment issues, including employee relations, performance management, terminations, investigations, accommodations, leaves, works council matters, workforce classification, TUPE-related issues, reorganizations, and other sensitive workplace matters

Lead employment-related disputes, litigation, agency charges, audits, inspections, and regulatory matters, including management of outside counsel

Partner cross-functionally on the design, implementation, and ongoing assessment of workforce structures, operational practices, and contracts.

Draft, review, and localize employment agreements, handbooks, separation agreements, policies, and other employment-related documents

Collaborate with stakeholders on compensation and benefits programs, pay equity and pay transparency initiatives, including EU Pay Transparency Directive compliance and readiness, business restructurings, market expansion, and other strategic initiatives with employment law implications

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively advise the business on changes that may affect company practices across jurisdictions

Develop and implement scalable policies, playbooks, and processes that improve consistency, reduce risk, and support efficient growth

About You:

J.D. or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in good standing

10+ years of relevant employment law experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm and in-house experience

Deep practical knowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions, including experience managing cross-border issues

Significant experience advising on workforce classification, contingent workforce models, independent contractor issues, and related litigation, investigations, or regulatory enforcement

Strong experience handling employment litigation, agency matters, internal investigations, and escalated workplace issues

Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and manage a high-volume, high-complexity workload

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance

Strong business judgment and a solutions-oriented approach

Experience supporting a high-growth, global technology company is strongly preferred

Experience building scalable employment law processes and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders at senior levels is preferred
