About the role
Service Account Manager – Industrial Refrigeration & Mission Critical Cooling KMI Services Group, LLC | Lakeland, FL | Full-Time | Field-Hybrid
KMI Services Group, a licensed industrial refrigeration and mission critical cooling contractor, is seeking a Service Account Manager to grow and retain a focused book of 5–10 key end-user accounts across Polk County and a ~100-mile radius (Tampa, Orlando, Ocala, and surrounding markets).
What You'll Do: Develop long-term service relationships with facility owners, plant managers, and maintenance directors at cold storage, food & beverage processing, and data center facilities. You'll identify recurring mechanical service needs, support service agreement renewals and expansions, coordinate with the project and estimating team, and serve as the primary KMI point of contact from initial outreach through project closeout. CRM discipline and weekly pipeline reporting to the CFO/COO are required.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years in service sales or account management in industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC, or mission critical mechanical
Existing relationships with facility or maintenance decision-makers in Central Florida or Tampa Bay
Working knowledge of refrigeration systems (ammonia, freon) or data center cooling infrastructure — enough to walk a mechanical room and ask the right questions
Strong follow-up habits and comfort with regular in-market field presence
This is a field-first role — regular site visits and in-person relationship building are expected.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
