Salary: $90,000 - $130,000+ Depending on Experience

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proven operations leader to oversee our Landscape Construction, Enhancement, and Irrigation divisions. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, developing team members, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring successful project execution.

Position Summary

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape construction, enhancements, and irrigation operations. This position provides leadership for managers, foremen, and crews while maintaining accountability for production, quality, scheduling, budgeting, hiring, training, equipment management, and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who enjoys building teams, solving problems, improving processes, and delivering exceptional results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all Landscape Construction, Enhancement, and Irrigation operations

Manage and develop division managers, foremen, and field personnel

Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top-performing team members

Develop and implement training programs for field employees and managers

Oversee production scheduling and resource allocation

Monitor labor efficiency, overtime, equipment utilization, and project profitability

Manage divisional budgets and operational performance metrics

Conduct quality control inspections and ensure company standards are maintained

Support project managers through project planning, production reviews, and client communication

Oversee fleet, equipment, and facility needs for assigned divisions

Participate in estimating, budgeting, and operational planning efforts

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members

QualificationsRequired

7+ years of experience in landscape construction, irrigation, enhancement, or related operations

3+ years of leadership or management experience

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience managing multiple crews, projects, and priorities simultaneously

Ability to manage budgets, labor, equipment, and operational performance

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field

Equivalent industry experience will be considered

Knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems, and horticultural practices

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial management

Industry certifications through NALP, irrigation associations, or related organizations
