Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to support a Business Requirements and Capabilities Team within a complex Agile delivery environment. This individual will serve as the primary liaison and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordinator for one or more Product Teams, partnering closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, validated, prioritized, and successfully delivered.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills, with experience operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. This role requires someone who can effectively bridge business and technical teams, facilitate collaboration across multiple workstreams, coordinate Agile ceremonies and meetings, manage schedules and dependencies, and ensure business needs are represented throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and user requirements.
Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and development teams to translate business needs into actionable features, capabilities, epics, and user stories.
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
Support backlog refinement activities and ensure requirements are sufficiently defined for development and testing.
Identify requirement gaps, risks, and dependencies and recommend solutions.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordination
Serve as the UAT Coordinator for assigned Product Teams.
Develop and manage UAT schedules, test planning activities, and stakeholder participation.
Coordinate test execution activities across business users, product teams, and technical resources.
Track, document, and communicate UAT results, defects, risks, and resolution status.
Facilitate go/no-go readiness discussions and support release planning activities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Team Coordination
Act as a primary business-facing liaison for assigned Product Teams.
Foster collaboration between business stakeholders, Product Managers, development teams, testing teams, and external partners.
Coordinate cross-functional activities and manage dependencies across multiple Agile teams.
Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders to support successful product delivery.
Support executive and program-level reporting, status updates, and decision-making activities.
Agile Delivery Support
Participate in and facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including:
Program Increment (PI) Planning
Backlog Refinement
Sprint Reviews/Demos
System Demos
Support Product Managers and Scrum Masters in maintaining team alignment and delivery objectives.
Help identify and remove impediments impacting team performance and delivery timelines.
Promote Agile and SAFe best practices across teams and stakeholders.
Meeting & Schedule Management
Serve as the primary coordinator and owner for recurring product, stakeholder, and governance meetings.
Develop agendas, facilitate discussions, document decisions, and track action items through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, integrated master schedules (IMS), milestone tracking, and dependency management artifacts.
Coordinate schedules across multiple teams and stakeholder groups to ensure alignment with delivery objectives.
Monitor progress against planned milestones and proactively identify schedule risks.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, Product Analyst, or related role.
Demonstrated experience with:
Business Requirements Management
Requirements elicitation and documentation
Stakeholder engagement and coordination
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution
Meeting facilitation and coordination
Project schedule management and dependency tracking
Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to facilitate discussions among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing competing priorities across multiple teams and initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Power Point, Excel, and Visio.
Preferred:
Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or DHS component agencies.
Experience supporting federal government programs or government contractors.
Prior experience serving as a Product Manager, Scrum Master, and/or Agile Team Facilitator.
SAFe certification (SA, SSM, POPM, or equivalent).
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
Familiarity with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) / Rational Team Concert (RTC).
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
