Project Supervisor
About the role
Overview
The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of roofing processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Supervisor will ensure that all work is completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Essential Functions:
1. Supervise and manage roofing projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
3. Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
4. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
5. Enforce company policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
6. Oversee subcontractors and crews, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
7. Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project.
8. Ensure proper documentation of project activities, including job progress, material usage, and safety compliance.
9. Review and approve time sheets, invoices, and project expenses according to Company procedures.
10. Train, mentor, and support team members as needed.
11. Conduct final inspections and ensure customer satisfaction before project completion.
12. Report directly to the Director of Operations on project progress and any critical issues.
13. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
General Functions:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures for operations, finance, human resources, and digital management. Maintain clear and effective communication with employees, clients, and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability. Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, leadership, and customer service. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company objectives.
