Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the Carpenters and Construction Coordinator within their area, ensuring that restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role ensures adherence to company standards, client satisfaction, and operational excellence throughout all phases of restoration work.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises all Carpenters and Construction Coordinator at assigned location.

Aids in the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of Carpenters and Construction Coordinator (as needed).

Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.

Handles performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with company policy.

Promotes a positive and safety-conscious team culture across departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage full project lifecycles, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while exceeding customer expectations.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients to manage their expectations throughout the restoration process.

Scope and sell repairs projects.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project goals and quality standards.

Oversee the ordering of materials, maintaining an efficient supply chain to support project needs.

Provide project summaries and reports to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.

Collaborate closely with our internal team to ensure the seamless completion of restoration work.

Required Skills and Abilities

A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the restoration industry, demonstrating your ability to successfully lead restoration projects.

Current and valid driver's license.

Safety and OSHA certifications are a plus.

Scope/Takeoff Estimating experience is a strong plus, showcasing your ability to accurately assess project costs and requirements.

Familiarity with CRM software, with experience in Dash being advantageous.

Experience managing multiple projects in different phases both effectively and efficiently.

Strong organizational and communication skills--essential for managing project teams, clients, and subcontractors effectively.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Regular travel to project sites, including exposure to construction and restoration environments.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Must be able to safely navigate active job sites, including uneven terrain or partially built environments.
