Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for Senior Quality Engineer I “Quality Assurance Team” at MOOG Japan, covering the functions below:

Assume assigned roles in the Quality Assurance team, supporting the Quality Supervisor / Management in acting as the “steward of quality” across the Moog Japan organization.

Support the establishment, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, other applicable industry standards & regulations, and customer-specific requirements.

Implement and maintain quality manuals, documents, operational processes, and tools, and deliver quality-related training to employees as required.

Conduct internal audits of internal quality-related processes and take external audits including ISO, ATEX, FM, and customer audits, ensuring readiness and follow-up actions.

Provide hands-on guidance and initiate improvement activities to enhance product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction by working closely with relevant departments/functions, including the QC function and departmental quality leads.

Monitor and improve product and process quality, identify quality-related risks, track KPIs, and help Supervisor to prepare quality performance reports to management.

In the event of quality issues or customer complaints, coordinate investigations and corrective actions with relevant departments, and handle communication with customers and suppliers as instructed by Quality Manager / Management.

Participate in development projects from a quality assurance perspective, taking ownership for quality planning and risk identification activities when required.

Enhance all employees’ quality awareness.

Contribute to management and departmental initiatives relating to quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence etc. as required.

品質保証（QA）チームのシニアクオリティエンジニアとしてアサインされた職務を担い、Moog Japan 組織全体において「品質の守護者」の一員として、品質スーパーバイザー並びに経営陣を支援する。

ISO9001、AS9100、その他適用される業界規格・法規制および顧客固有要求事項に準拠した品質マネジメントシステム（QMS）の構築、維持、改善を支援する。

品質マニュアル、各種文書、業務プロセス、ツールを導入・維持し、必要に応じて品質関連の教育・トレーニングを従業員へ実施する。

社内の品質関連プロセスに対する内部監査を実施するとともに、ISO、ATEX、FM、顧客監査などの外部監査への対応を担い、監査準備および是正・フォローアップを確実に行う。

関連部門、QC機能および各部門の品質担当者と密接に連携し、製品品質、法令・規格遵守、顧客満足度の向上を目的とした改善活動を主導および支援する。

製品およびプロセスの品質を監視・改善し、品質リスクの特定、KPIの管理を行うとともに、品質パフォーマンスに関する報告の準備を支援する。

品質問題や顧客クレーム発生時には、関連部門と連携して調査および是正措置を調整・主導し、品質マネージャー／経営陣の指示に基づき、顧客およびサプライヤーとのコミュニケーションを担当する。

開発プロジェクトに品質保証の立場から参画し、必要に応じて品質計画およびリスク特定活動に責任を持つ。

従業員の品質意識を向上させる。

品質、継続的改善、オペレーショナル・エクセレンス等に関する経営・部門横断の取り組みに貢献する。

Qualifications:

Education/degree

Bachelor Degree of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Work experience

Minimum 5-year experience as Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.

Experience in applying statistical quality control methods such as SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma as a strong preferred experience.

Work experience or practical knowledge about engineering is highly preferred, the product/technology segments include hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical.

Other skills

Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Quality Assurance standards, ISO9001 as mandatory, AS9100 as strong addition.

Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively carry out tasks across departments.

Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks responsibly with limited supervision.

Problem-solving ability, judgment and decision-making ability, persuasiveness, logical thinking, and analytical thinking skills.

A proactive attitude at the practical level and a deep involvement in the field.

A high level of awareness regarding quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Ability to say "No" when necessary.

Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and QMS-related systems.

学歴／学位

機械工学または電気工学の学士号、もしくは同等の資格。

職務経験

製造業におけるクォリティエンジニアとしての5年以上の経験。

SPC、FMEA、シックスシグマなどの統計的品質管理手法の適用経験があれば尚可。

油圧、機械、電気などの製品／技術分野におけるエンジニアリングに関する実務経験または知識があれば非常に望ましい。

その他のスキル

品質保証規格に関する最新の知識（ISO9001は必須、AS9100は尚可）。
