Quality Specialist III – Electronics Lab (QLAB)
Location: Amexhe, Guanajuato
Are you passionate about quality assurance, laboratory testing, and electronic validation within the automotive industry?
At FORVIA HELLA, we are looking for a Quality Specialist III (QLAB) to ensure reliable testing methods, robust validation processes, and compliance with international quality standards in our electronics laboratory.
Role Objective
To execute and ensure high-quality standards in laboratory testing and validation processes for electronic components, guaranteeing accurate measurement systems, compliance with ISO standards, and reliable results for internal and customer requirements.
️ Key Responsibilities
Quality & Laboratory Processes
Perform analysis of failures and ensure proper use of quality tools.
Execute and validate functional tests for electronic components and systems.
Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and other applicable laboratory standards.
Analyze electronic circuits to support troubleshooting and validation activities.
Maintain accuracy and reliability in testing processes and measurement systems.
Testing & Validation
Conduct functional tests (electronics) and thermal chamber evaluations.
Differentiate and apply verification vs. calibration processes.
Interpret and validate test results against specifications and requirements.
Support design of experiments (DOE) for validation and testing activities.
Problem Solving & Analysis
Apply failure analysis methodologies (visual inspection, functional, electrical/mechanical testing, cross-section, X-ray, etc.).
Identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
Support replication of failures under controlled laboratory conditions.
Communication & Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams and customers to address quality concerns.
Communicate test results, deviations, and improvement opportunities effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in multidisciplinary environments.
Advanced Systems (Desirable)
Support validation activities related to ADAS systems, including:
Data acquisition from sensors (e.g., cameras, etc.).
Signal processing within ECUs.
Decision-making and output validation to sensors.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields).
Experience: More than 2 up to 3 years of experience in quality analysis, laboratory testing, and customer interaction.
Language: Advanced English.
️ Musts:
Knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory standards.
Experience in electronic functional testing and failure analysis.
Understanding of electronic circuits analysis.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and organization capabilities.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience or knowledge in ADAS systems.
Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE).
