(MX) - Business Development Manager
About the role
Mapal Group is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our GTM-SALES team
This role role is a key position in the company’s growth strategy. It is exclusively focused on outbound prospecting, within a defined market and ICP, with the objective of creating qualified opportunities for the Sales team. The BDM is responsible for proactively generating pipeline by targeting the right accounts and decision-makers, and by running structured and personalized outbound campaigns.
You’ll also be responsible of generate a consistent and predictable flow of qualified meetings through outbound activities by:
Precisely targeting the defined ICP.
Running high-performing multichannel campaigns.
Actively contributing to the structuring and continuous improvement of the outbound strategy.
Key responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting and Opportunity Generation
Focus exclusively on outbound prospecting within the assigned market and defined ICP.
Identify, target, and contact prospects through multichannel actions (calls, emails,
LinkedIn, etc.).
Qualify prospects according to defined criteria and generate high-value meetings for the Sales team.
Building and Managing Prospecting Campaigns.
Prepare and execute various outbound prospecting campaigns, adapting to:
Multiple people (executives, operations, HR, IT, etc.),
Different use cases and business challenges.
Adapt messaging, sequences, and channels based on the targeted and their level of maturity.
Continuously test, analyse, and optimize campaigns (messaging, hooks, channels).
Messaging Mastery and Product Expertise
Develop in-depth knowledge of Mapal’s solutions and value proposition.
Use elevator pitches and scripts while intelligently adapting them to each prospect.
Be able to challenge prospects and create interest from the very first interactions.
Collaboration with Sales & SDR Teams
Work closely with Sales teams to:
Align on qualification expectations,
Improve the quality of meetings handed over.
Share field feedback (objections, market signals, prospect feedback).
Collaborate with other SDRs / BDRs to share best practices and improve overall team performance.
Organization, Discipline, and Reporting
Maintain exemplary discipline in the CRM (activity tracking, qualification, notes).
Track and manage outbound activity using the tools provided by the group.
Proactively suggest improvements to outbound processes.
Events (if applicable)
Participate in trade shows, events, or business travel related to the assigned market, if the Inbound team requires support.
Represent the company consistently with Mapal’s vision and standards.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified meetings generated.
Conversion rate from outbound actions to opportunities.
Volume and quality of pipeline created.
Compliance with activity targets of a minimum of 50 calls per day.
Quality of data and CRM tracking.
